On his way to a 31-9 road victory over the Titans, Peyton Manning jumped over Hall of Famer Fran Tarkenton in the record books. The first TD pass of the game -- a 3-yarder to Reggie Wayne during the 1st quarter -- was the 343rd of his career, moving him past Fran Tarkenton into third place on the NFL's career list. Manning finished the game with a total 345 in his career. Only Brett Favre (469) and Dan Marino (420) have more.

After this week's game between the Vikings and Packers, its clear that Brett Favre is back in the football game! It's ironic how the Sears Blue Electronics Crew TV spot that played on his indecisiveness was just the beginning of his comeback (Video above).Ironically, both seem to be skyrocketing, as he's accepted back into the "football family" and the Sears TV spots have been re-posted on several blogs. I think the video is hilarious and does a really good job. Favre was a good sport at poking... fun at himself. Overall, good job.more>>

All eyes were on the Metrodome Monday night as Minnesota QB Brett Favre faced his old team, Green Bay--the one he won a Super Bowl with in the town with a steakhouse that he owns not far from a street that bears his name. Favre and his successor, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, went TD for TD. But when DE Jared Allen sacked Rodgers in the endzone for a safety in the 4th qtr., the reality finally hit home--the new Brett Favre, is Brett Favre, 30-23, Vikings.
